DAY 1 - KAOHSIUNG ( PIER 2 ART CENTRE )

Today was indeed a tiring day. We took a 6 hr flight and landed safely in KaohSiung. We went to Pier 2 art center to check out amazing 3D arts. It was really pretty and the sunset was perfect at the love pier! At Pier 2 art center we learnt that the art center was a abandoned and forgotten warehouse buried in history due to the move from an industrial based segment to the service sector. The artists had injected waves of creativity and inspiration to the place and reborn making the region a place where tourist and locals can come together to enjoy fine arts. It was indeed a fine experience.

The first day of my Taiwan trip was fun and a good learning experience about art especially at the Art museum. It really attracted my attention and I am really amazed about the wonders of art. We bonded through all the activities we did together as a group especially with my sec3 group whom I adore. I never regret coming to Taiwan with my dance members and teachers because it is really a great experience for me to cope and it helps me to gain independence.

Today was our first day in Taiwan and we have been in the plane for a long time. In the afternoon, we finally reach KaohShiung, It was really exciting to finally reach as it is my first time here. Once we reached Taiwan, we boarded a really cool looking bus and proceed to the Pier 2 art center where we took a lot of pictures. The art pieces that we saw was really nice as they are made up of different materials like metal and wood. The Pier 2 art center environment was really peaceful. I really enjoy the trip so far and I hope that the next 5 days would be more exciting and fun.

I found the first day of my Taiwan trip really fun! On the plane, I made a new friend, he is from Spain and heading towards Chicago then to Miami. We realised that we had a common interest- NBA. We had a wonderful conversation and he shared about his family and took photos with me. I had lots of fun today when we took our group photos.

First day of coming to Taiwan was very exciting as I get the opportunity to travel with my friends even though it was a really long and tiring flight. Upon reaching KaohSiung , we went to Pier 2 Art Centre. It is really a nice place as art pieces are found everywhere and artists have their drawings on the walls and sculptures built along the way. The graffiti really amazes me as I have never seen such a nice one before. My first day here turned out well and enjoyable. I hope to gain more cultural experience from this trip.
